In this session join Metis Artist Leah Marie Dorion who will read her newest children’s book, “My Little Metis Sleepy Horse,” (2023) published by GDI Press.  She will then lead a “Make and Take” mixed media art activity inspired by the story.  In this session parents will learn about the story and grow in confidence to do Metis style inspired artwork with their children. This book and art activity is for a younger audience for children under age 7.
